Friday Night Funkin’ Game is divided into several mini games which will be released on a different week. Each week, players will join in a new mini game and will have to fight with a new villain to win.

Each game has its own story, so do Friday Night Funkin’s. To go through the whole story of the game as well as the character’s reaction and dialogues you can play in the Story Mode. Or if you want to win as fast as possible and want to play on the songs you choose, Free Play Mode is for you.

After selecting which game mode to play, you can choose the difficulty of the battle. It includes Easy, Normal and Hard levels. The higher the difficulty, the faster the song's speed so if you are a new player, it’s recommended to start from an easy level.

In order to win the battle, you will need to use your expert music skills by hitting the note patterns at the right time, using the arrow keys or the W, A, S, D keys. During the battle, music notes will show up in the main interface, whenever the symbols match the notes, press the corresponding keys at that moment to hit the notes perfectly. At the bottom of the screen, there is a bar divided into two parts: Green and Red. Green Part is your exp which you can get when you hit the correct notes. Don’t wait too long otherwise the robot will hit it for you. Whoever fills the bar first will be the winner of the battle.

The story of FNF, week by week

The main story of the game follows Boyfriend, the character you embody, the person who has to win the singing and rapping competition so that he can impress the girl he loves and have a chance to date with her. As mentioned above, each week there will be new villains that want to stop you from winning the contest and try to stop you from dating girlfriend. Let's try your best to win the battle against them and get together and you two will finally be together.
